I will miss you as part of the tour. I certainly understand needing to put your life before your work . . . or, in your case, put your passionate work before your paying work. Or something. Whatever. Know what I mean? I wish you very good luck. The album should be arriving any day now and I can't wait! I will be sure to write my reactions, and maybe I'll manage to say something that you can use to help spread the word.
Two things:
(1) The gag gift I got you -- which is still sitting on my desk because I haven't gotten it together enough to find a padded envelope -- was designed for the tour! But that's okay. It is equally usable off-tour.
(2) Do you know who will be singing BGVs on this leg?

I too am sorry to hear your news but am very glad to hear there will be more solo stuff coming!! I'm on my way to check out your cd!!
Now...I realize this may be kind of strange or perhaps out of line (I hope not) but, do you know if there will be auditions for the next leg of the tour? I've done a good bit of session work in the past... and have great references. Oddly enough, I've never had the urge to do solo/lead vocals...but I LOVE and live for doing background vocals. I really admire you for the excellent work you've done!!
I've just never known how you come about auditioning for a tour of such magnitude. If you have any info, I'd love to hear it.
